About Me
I wanted to take a second, and talk about who I am, and why this space exists. I am now in my thirties, and after watching a video on the Indie Web, web revival, I fell in love. I have become obsessed. I truly hate every platform so much. I hate the anxiety I feel from posting anything. I fear the backlash of strangers in the comments, or companies stealing my creations/information for their LLMS/AI training. Or fascists using my data and information to build a profile against me. And it all feels so damn clinical and sanitized and just entirely devoid of personality, even though the personality of the users is the entire product of any social media platform.
And so now, I'm just building this cute junky little website that very likely, no one will ever see. And I can post without anxiety because its not about fake internet points or being salacious. And so, I am making this page for me, and for fun. And for the first time in a very long time, just beceause it's something fun. And maybe one day, I can finally quit all social media for good. And instead, I'll just pop on the indie web and look at my friends sites and see what they're up to, and then I'll see them in person. And each website I look at will be personal, and not riddled with ads and Spyware. Just real content, from real people.
And so, that's the basis for this space. It's a place for me to be me. For me to learn and experiement with this amazing corner of the internet. All art and images on this site unless otherwise stated will be created by me! And I will credit others whom I borrow assets or art from! Also, while I don't know how much of this will really be a feature of this site, as I want it to primarily be a place of joy and passion, but, these things are part of me, and important and I will say them here and now again as a proclamation; This site is now and will always be Anti-AI, Anti-Fascist, and Anti-Genocide.
